Twinings Tea Tasting + Tea Mug : Handbuilding
Your favourite tea deserves a mug you made.
Class Description
Date: Saturday, November 14 Time: 2:00 PM (2.5 hours) Price: $78 per person Includes: Tea tasting, tea to take home, clay, tools, glazing and firing Level: Beginners welcome Location: Pottery Dream, Toronto ⸻ Come spend a relaxed Saturday afternoon with us, drinking tea and making pottery by hand. We'll start with a tea tasting from Twinings. Try a few different teas, pick your top 2 or 3, and take your favourite home. Then it's time to get your hands in the clay. Using simple handbuilding techniques like pinching and coiling , you'll make your own tea mug or a little tea set. There's no wheel and no rush, so it's a great pick if you want a slower, more hands-on kind of afternoon. We'll help you the whole way, so it's totally fine if you've never worked with clay before. We'll glaze and fire your pieces for you, and once they're ready you can pick them up and enjoy your first cup of tea in something you made yourself. ⸻ Please make sure read the Term & Condition before signing up.
