Clay & Bloom: Ikebana Workshop In collaboration with Rainbow Floral A two-part creative experience where you don’t just arrange flowers, you make what holds them. About the Workshop: Begin with clay. In a 3-hour handbuilding session, you’ll create your own ceramic vessel from scratch—no experience needed, just come ready to get your hands into it. Once your piece is fired, you’ll join us for a guided ikebana session at Rainbow Floral. Using your handmade vessel, you’ll explore a more intentional, sculptural approach to floral design, focusing on shape, space, and composition with seasonal materials. ⸻ Workshop Details Format: 2 sessions Session 1 — Pottery 📍 Pottery Dream Danforth 🗓️ Friday, June 5, 6PM 🕕 3-hour handbuilding workshop • Create your own ceramic vessel Session 2 — Ikebana 📍 Rainbow Floral 🗓️ Friday, June 26, 6 PM 🕕 1.5-hour guided ikebana session • Create a seasonal floral arrangement using your vessel ⸻ What’s Included • All materials for both sessions • Clay, tools, glazing, and firing • Fresh seasonal flowers and ikebana instruction ⸻ What to Expect A full creative journey from shaping clay to arranging flowers, designed to slow you down and connect you to the process of making.
