Class Description

Location: 125 Danforth Avenue, 2F Toronto NO MAKE UP CLASS. Welcome to our exciting four-week pottery course, designed for beginners level participants eager to explore their wheel throwing skills. This comprehensive series is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of pottery and create your very own handmade masterpieces. Over the four-week duration, our skilled instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering the clay, pulling up the walls, and trimming to refine your forms. The class is scheduled to begin at 6 pm, so kindly arrive 5 minutes ahead to ensure a smooth start and get settled in. Week 1 : Throwing demo. throwing Week 2 : Throwing Week 3 : Trimming, Handles Week 4 : Glazing What to bring: Please bring your own apron & towel What to wear: Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and wear something comfortable. What to prepare: Short nails are better, and bring hair tie if you have long hair. Please come 5 minutes early to settle down. What is included: 6 pieces (extra pieces available for $10 + tax /piece) Access to Shimpo RK whisper wheel and tools necessary for pottery making. Underglazes and glazes. Firing. Complimentary delivery included within: Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Toronto, Richmond Hill, Markham & Scarborough. As of now, we aren't able to deliver outside of this radius. IMPORTANT NOTE : All courses are non-refundable. No make up class. Please make sure you are able to attend all the classes. If you miss trimming or glazing class, the instructor will trim and clear glaze your pieces. We are not able to accommodate any make up class due to different class scheduling and firing schedule. There are no partial refunds for missed classes. Rescheduling : If you wish to reschedule your whole course, a request should be made at least 5 days or 120 hours before the scheduled start of the class. We appreciate your understanding of our rescheduling and cancellation policy, as it allows us to manage class capacity effectively and provide the best possible experience for all participants. Cancellation Policy & Disclaimer

Please note that the class is subject to cancellation if the minimum student enrollment is not achieved. We will contact you 3 days before. Late arrival : To respect others, no entry will be permitted 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. Note that the instructional demonstration will not be repeated for late arrivals. All bookings and purchase are non-refundable. No exceptions. Rescheduling: Single Classes Reschedule Window: Request must be made at least 4 days (96 hours) before the start time. Late Reschedule Fee: A $35 fee per spot applies for requests made after the 4-day window. Transfer: Registration may be transferred to another individual if you cannot attend. 2 & 4 Week Courses Make-Up Classes: No make-up classes are provided. Reschedule Window (Full Course): Request must be made at least 5 days (120 hours) in advance. Late Reschedule Fee (Full Course): A $75 fee per spot applies for late requests. Missed Sessions: The instructor will complete your project(s) (clear glaze only) if you miss the trimming or glazing session. 6 & 8 Week Courses Make-Up Class: One make-up class may be accommodated, subject to scheduling and availability. Request Window: Must be submitted within 24 hours of the missed session. Note: Make-up classes are first come, first served and are not guaranteed. Reschedule Window (Full Course): Request must be made at least 5 days (120 hours) in advance. Late Reschedule Fee (Full Course): A $100 fee per spot applies for late requests. Missed Sessions: The instructor will complete your project(s) if you miss the final two sessions. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy, as it allows us to manage class capacity effectively and provide the best possible experience for all participants.
