Class Description
Price : $800, HST included Take your pottery skills to the next level with our Intermediate Pottery Wheel Class. This course is perfect for those who have mastered the basics and are ready to tackle more advanced techniques. We will cover how to make pouring vessel, lidded vessel and also making more complex forms such as teapot. Requirements to join this class : Potters MUST be comfortable centering, pulling up walls and create cylinders. Instructor will not explain basic technique. Week 1 : Pouring vessel and handle Week 2 : Closed and lidded vessel Week 3 : Trimming Week 4 : Teapot making Week 5 : Trimming Week 6 : Glazing and decorating Week 7: Work week Week 8: Work week Week 9: Trimming Week 10: Glazing and decorating *schedule may change and students will be able to do their own project for the second half of the course. Kindly arrive the class on time, demo will start on time and will not be repeated. Rescheduling : We will try to accommodate ONE make up class ( only if the schedule work ) , please notify us in advance. It is very important to not miss the last 2 weeks as we won't be able to accomodate the make up class. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy, as it allows us to manage class capacity effectively and provide the best possible experience for all participants. No refund. What to bring: Please bring your own apron & towel What to wear: Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and wear something comfortable. Please note that the class is subject to cancellation if the minimum student enrollment is not achieved. If you arrive late to class after the demo has started, please note that the instructor will not repeat the demo. This policy is to respect other students who arrived on time. Refund Eligibility : No refunds Rescheduling : If you wish to reschedule your class, a request should be made at least 5 days or 120 hours before the scheduled start of the class. No rescheduling 4 days before class starts but you can transfer the class registration to other individuals if you wish.
