Class Description
Located at 125 Danforth Avenue, 2F. Requirements: Comfortable with wheel throwing: including centering, pulling up walls, and forming simple shapes. Our private intermediate session offers personalized guidance to refine your techniques and elevate your pottery skills. Designed for those with prior experience, this session focuses on improving consistency, creating larger forms, and exploring advanced wheel-throwing techniques. You'll also have the opportunity to learn in a calm and supportive environment. As this is a one-time session, the priority will be purely on learning—therefore no pieces will be kept, as we do not provide trimming for larger forms. If you would like to keep the pieces you've created, please book another session for trimming. For details on multi-session options, email us at hello@potterydream.com. What’s Included: 3-hour one-on-one pottery wheel experience, with the last 15 minutes dedicated to cleaning. Any tools, equipment, materials needed will be provided. *Keeping Pieces: If you decide to keep your pieces, the piece(s) will be weighed at the end of your trimming session. $20/1 kg. After that, it will be $10/500 gr. Firing and only clear glaze included. What to bring: Apron and towel. We DO NOT provide aprons. Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Finished pieces will be ready to pick up within three weeks after the class. We recommend wearing something comfortable that you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Please avoid wearing skirts or dresses as you will be sitting with your legs around the wheel during the class. Additionally, long nails can make it challenging to work effectively on the wheel, so please consider trimming them before the class. Refund Eligibility: No refunds Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule your class, a request should be made at least 4 days or 96 hours before the scheduled start time of the class. If a reschedule request is made less than 4 days or 96 hours in advance of the scheduled session, a rescheduling fee of $35 per person will apply. However, you are welcome to transfer the class registration to another individual if you prefer. Please make sure read the Terms & Condition before signing up.
